What are we looking for?

We’re looking to curate poems and artwork that uplift and inspire those going through challenging times. Whether you’re submitting poetry, prose, or visual art, your work has the power to connect with those in hospitals who could use some light and comfort.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Please submit all works in PDF format.

  • Poetry: Each poem should not exceed 40 lines.

  • Fiction/Creative-Nonfiction should not exceed 1000 words.

  • Artwork: We welcome artwork submissions that complement the theme of healing and hope.

  • Cover Art:

    • We are looking for cover art submissions for our upcoming issues. Your artwork can be in any medium, including photography. While there is no strict theme, we encourage pieces that evoke a sense of healing, hope, and resilience. Please avoid any violent or inappropriate content.

    • You may submit up to five pieces. Artwork can be previously published on your social media or personal portfolio, but please do not submit artwork that has been previously featured in a magazine or on another cover.

    • If selected, your art will be showcased on the cover of our issue, and you will be credited on our website, along with a shoutout to your social media handle.

  • Please include a short 3rd person bio with your submission (100 words or less).

  • You are welcome to submit multiple pieces.

  • All submissions must use inclusive and respectful language.

  • We allow simultaneous submissions.

Author Rights:

At Poems for Tomorrow, we respect and prioritize the creative rights of our contributors. By submitting your work, you retain full ownership of it, as we request only non-exclusive rights. This means we have the right to publish your work in our magazine and feature it on our website, but you are free to share, republish, or submit your work to other publications at any time after it appears with us. We also reserve the right to include your piece in our digital archives and in any hospital and care facility distributions, but we do not impose any restrictions on reprints or future uses of your work. Our aim is to promote and showcase your voice while ensuring you maintain full control over how and where your work is published.

Email your submissions to poems4tomorrow@gmail.com and help us create a collection that brings light to those facing difficult moments. We will try to respond within 24 hours.
